The tomb is a roughly rectangular and is decorated externally with Multan's signature blue and white tiles, placing it firmly within the design tradition of Multan's 'flat roof' tombs such as that of Shah Yousuf Gardezi. The east facade is decorated with a set of triple arches resting upon double columns, providing access to a deep portico that shelters a number of graves (the latest of which was added in July 2001). Deeper into the building sits two rooms: a square tomb chamber for Bibi Pak Daman on the north and an antechamber to the south which is filled with the graves of various family members. Two small kiosks, serving as corner towers, enliven the front facade.

The tomb stands at the center of a larger walled compound that includes an unusual domed gatehouse on the northeast corner. Immediately south of the site is the sprawling Bhutta graveyard.

According to the website UrduPoint (see credit below) officials at the Auqaf and Archaeology departments are concerned that the mausoleum's roof is decaying rapidly, requiring makeshift internal bracing to keep it from collapsing (see image 6). As of 2018, the department had awarded a contract to repair the building several years prior, but the contractor reported difficulty obtaining the necessary wooden beams required for the restoration of the roof. It is not clear what, if any, action is being taken at this point (mid-2019, at the time of this writing) to conserve the structure.
